Guests could undertake to visit the nearby attractions that include, Dowa Rock Temple, Adisham Bungalow, Bogoda Wooden Bridge, Lipton Seat along with visits to some of the famous water falls of Sri Lanka, including, Dunhinda, Diyaluma and Rawana Falls and a visit to the famous Hortain Plains, which about 30KM can be made whilst on holiday.
One could also undertake to visit Udawalwe National Park, which was created to provide a sanctuary for wild animals displaced by the construction of the Udawalawe reservoir on the Walawe River, as well as to protect the catchment of the reservoir. The reserve covers 30,821 hectares (119.00 sq mi) of land area and the park is very famous for the Elephants (Elephas maximus).
